FINISHING WORKERS – SUMMER OPPORTUNITY!

The Opportunity:
Pollard Banknote is seeking individuals who thrive in a fast-paced-with-tight-deadlines, team-oriented environment for our manufacturing department.

Reporting to the Finishing Supervisors, these casual positions offer a 3-day compressed work week schedule. Our shifts are fixed twelve-hour shifts as follows:
  • Sun – Tue Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Sun – Tue Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
  • Wed – Fri Days – 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM
  • Wed – Fri Nights – 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM
There are numerous positions available for a 3-month term on various shifts. These terms may be extended. The start date for these positions will be on end of April and or beginning of May.

As a member of our Finishing Department, you will process serialized lottery tickets using automated, semi-automated and manual equipment methods to prepare our final product. You will work in a variety of areas such as scanning, shrink wrapping, cartoning, inspection and palletizing.

Previous experience for these entry level positions is not required; training, support and guidance will be provided to ensure success in this role.

SENIOR QA ANALYST

The Opportunity:

Pollard Banknote Limited is looking for an experienced QA Analyst with 3+ years of experience in testing software solutions across web and mobile platforms. The primary responsibility of the Senior QA Analyst is leading the QA efforts of one or more software products as well as managing technical risks across different projects. SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

PROJECT MANAGER

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a driven, results-oriented Project Manager to join our growing Project Management Office. In this role, you will be responsible for leading teams to deliver complex projects that span across one or more departments, often including external partnerships with vendors and suppliers as well as customer-facing projects.

SENIOR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR

The Opportunity:

Our IT Infrastructure Team is looking for an experienced Senior Network Administrator to join our growing organization. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, planning, security and operational management of Pollard Banknote’s enterprise data communications network.

BUSINESS ANALYST

The Opportunity:

We’re looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual to join the fast-paced environment as a Business Analyst with the Digital Solutions Team at Pollard Banknote. In this role, you will be responsible for working with many different internal and external teams to gather requirements and manage the effective planning and lifecycle management of digital solutions for the lottery industry.

As a Business Analyst, you will maintain product backlog, create a product roadmap, direct the project team and assist in systems analysis. PROJECT COORDINATOR (BILINGUAL)

CORPORATE REPORTING AND TREASURY ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Corporate Reporting and Treasury Supervisor within Pollard’s finance team, this full time, permanent position will support a growing and dynamic organization in the gaming industry. The Corporate Reporting and Treasury Analyst will assist with internal and external financial reporting and provide support for various treasury functions such as insurance, bonding, foreign exchange, cash flow monitoring and banking.

CONDITION MONITORING TECHNICIAN

The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone to be responsible for providing ongoing condition monitoring support on a variety of print production equipment and building systems to support day to day operations of the plant. This includes performing subjective and quantifiable measuring, routine preventative maintenance tasks and input of measures taken into a computerized maintenance management system. The successful candidate will also lead a maintenance team in Root Cause Problem Solving and Failure Analysis Mode to reduce repeating equipment failures.

Anticipated shift will be Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and/or weekend requirements. From time to time infrequent travel to other PBL facilities in Canada and USA may be required to assist in equipment installs or repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper performance and operation of machinery and mechanical equipment for production
  • Perform objective monitoring for machine condition using quantifiable measures such as oil and vibration analysis and thermography reporting
  • Perform subjective monitoring by the Look, Listen and Feel method
  • Minimize production downtime by completing equipment monitoring and preventive maintenance inspections
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship quality are delivered to prevent manufacturing equipment breakdowns
  • Record accurate information on work orders and work requisitions
  • Lead a team to determine root cause of equipment failures and make recommendations to reduce repetitive breakdowns
  • Generate work requisitions and notifications if reports or results show that equipment is performing outside of the normal operation conditions

Qualifications:
  • Red Seal Certification in a related trade

INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC

THE OPPORTUNITY

Working within our two automated print production facilities, this permanent full-time position is responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support on a variety of print production equipment and building systems to support day to day operations of the plant. This includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, diagnostic and troubleshooting services, responding to emergency breakdowns and completing accurate work order data entry/documentation. This position at times may also perform project work on an as needed basis for new installations and customizations on existing equipment to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

The position requires an individual who is able to meet the requirements for physical demanding work, is flexible to work various shifts and available for overtime and/or on call duty as needed.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper performance and operation of machinery and mechanical equipment for production
  • Minimize production downtime by completing preventive maintenance inspections, planned work orders and responding to breakdowns and emergency repairs in an expedited and efficient manner
