PROGRAMMER ANALYST - INTERNAL AUDIT

THE OPPORTUNITY:

SYSTEMS ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for a self-motivated and passionate individual to join the fast-paced environment as a Systems Analyst with the Digital Solutions Team at Pollard Banknote. In this role, you will be responsible for working with many different internal and external teams to gather requirements and manage the effective planning and lifecycle management of digital solutions for the lottery industry.

As Systems Analyst you will maintain product backlog, create a product roadmap, direct the project team and assist in systems analysis. Product planning responsibilities include awareness and analysis of systems and operational needs and translates them to product requirements and roadmap, and ensure the team has the tools and the expertise to deliver the product.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Liaise with business and development teams to facilitate the development of new digital products and enhance existing products
  • Perform System Analysis and deliver technical solutions to address system break-fix and change requests as part of deliverables
  • Work with the Product Director and other internal and external stakeholders to prioritize and maintain the product backlog and roadmap
  • Coordinate initiatives for small to medium projects, including, identifying, tracking and resolving technical issues for assigned business application systems
  • Solicit goals and requirements (functional and non-functional) through interviews, workshops, and reviews of existing documentation/procedures

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Post-secondary education in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Business Analysis, or equivalent combination of education and experience

  • Knowledge of technology trends across the industry and best practices within the Software Development Life Cycles (SDLC)

MANUFACTURING ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Pollard Banknote has an opportunity in Production for a Manufacturing Analyst. COMPUTER OPERATOR - DELIVERABLES

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Computer Operations Supervisor, the Deliverables Operator is responsible for ensuring all games produced by Pollard Banknote are in balance prior to release. Duties include conducting pre-balances and final balancing for all games, ensuring timely and accurate generation of customer deliverables including, but not limited to, game validation files, return files, second chance hash files and bar code files. As well, the successful candidate will be required to participate in the review of draft game specifications and sign off reviews.

This is a Monday to Friday day position, requiring the ability to work other shifts when needed and participate in an on-call rotation.

SENIOR SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an experienced Wintel Systems Administrator to join our Information Technology Infrastructure team. Reporting to the Manager, IT Infrastructure, you will provide direct technical and administrative support to high availability production systems in a medium enterprise-level manufacturing environment.

A major responsibility of the position will be ensuring effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure, including participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Administration and Provisioning

  • Engineering of Microsoft Windows systems solutions for various project and operational needs
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements
  • Research and recommend innovative, and where possible automated approaches for system administration tasks

Operations and Support

  • Perform daily system monitoring, verifying the integrity and availability of hardware, server resources, systems and key processes, reviewing system and application logs, and verifying completion of scheduled jobs such as backups

SALES & INVENTORY ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Manager, Financial Performance Reporting, the Sales & Inventory Analyst, will provide timely, thorough, accurate and comprehensive analysis of the Company’s financial performance. CORPORATE REPORTING AND TREASURY ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Corporate Reporting and Treasury Supervisor within Pollard’s finance team, this full time, permanent position will support a growing and dynamic organization in the gaming industry. PRESS ASSISTANT

CONDITION MONITORING TECHNICIAN

The Opportunity:

We are looking for someone to be responsible for providing ongoing condition monitoring support on a variety of print production equipment and building systems to support day to day operations of the plant. This includes performing subjective and quantifiable measuring, routine preventative maintenance tasks and input of measures taken into a computerized maintenance management system. The successful candidate will also lead a maintenance team in Root Cause Problem Solving and Failure Analysis Mode to reduce repeating equipment failures.

Anticipated shift will be Monday to Friday with occasional overtime and/or weekend requirements. From time to time infrequent travel to other PBL facilities in Canada and USA may be required to assist in equipment installs or repairs.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Ensure proper performance and operation of machinery and mechanical equipment for production
  • Perform objective monitoring for machine condition using quantifiable measures such as oil and vibration analysis and thermography reporting

SECURITY OFFICER - PERMANENT CASUAL

THE OPPORTUNITY

We are currently recruiting for casual Security Officers for permanent casual employment. Hours of work will include Saturday and/or Sundays from 6:00 am to 6:00 pm or 6:00 pm to 6:00 am and on call as required to cover vacations and/or leaves – both scheduled and not scheduled. .

As a member of Corporate Security, the successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing policies and procedures relative to the safety and security of company property and personnel, monitoring building entrances and exits as well as building grounds, reporting violations, fire, accident, theft and vandalism and assisting with the various day to day security issues for the Winnipeg plant. 

NOTE: Training to take place over the course of 3 – 4 weeks and will require 2 – 3 days/nights of availability each week. Regular shifts following the successful completion of training will be permanent, casual shifts, averaging a minimum of 12 hours bi-weekly. Ongoing availability to work casual night shifts is mandatory.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Monitor building entrances and exits, conduct regular and lengthy security check patrols and respond to security and safety incidents
  • Ensure all security processes are followed and integrity is maintained
  • View and document activity of security tapes/key scans, issue daily security logs and security reports

INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC

THE OPPORTUNITY

Working within our two automated print production facilities, this permanent full-time position is responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support on a variety of print production equipment and building systems to support day to day operations of the plant. This includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, diagnostic and troubleshooting services, responding to emergency breakdowns and completing accurate work order data entry/documentation. This position at times may also perform project work on an as needed basis for new installations and customizations on existing equipment to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

The position requires an individual who is able to meet the requirements for physical demanding work, is flexible to work various shifts and available for overtime and/or on call duty as needed.
