DIGITAL MARKETING SPECIALIST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Our Loyalty Business is growing and we’re looking to add another creative, self-motivated Digital Marketing Specialist to our Team! In this role, you will act as the primary point of contact for our clients, technology partners and internal teams to support the planning and day-to-day operations of our Pollard Loyalty Application.

DIRECTOR, TECHNOLOGY SERVICES

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Reporting to the Executive Vice-President, Information Technology, the Director, Technology Services is responsible for setting the company’s overall technology standards and practices, overseeing all IT infrastructure operations and services across all Pollard sites, including end user services, network, telephony, server/storage, and overseeing the management of Pollard’s enterprise systems such as Office 365, AWS, Backup and Recovery, Security Systems, and VMware.

In addition, this position provides leadership and management to professional staff in the functional areas of IT Infrastructure and Architecture, and IT Services.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide leadership in the management of Pollard’s enterprise systems: AWS, Azure, Internet Services, E-Mail, Backup and Recovery, Security Systems, Active Directory, VMware, Etc.
  • Oversee all IT infrastructure services across all Pollard sites, including end user services, network, telephony, server, storage, etc.
  • Perform IT assessments as part of vendor selections and company acquisitions and develop the long-range direction of the organization’s technology function and processes
  • Oversee operational support activities and manage the Data Centre hosting services

SHIPPER/RECEIVER

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently recruiting for a Shipper/Receiver for permanent full-time employment. Hours of work will be from 9am to 5pm, Monday to Friday, with the ability to work varied shifts to cover vacations and/or leaves – both scheduled and not scheduled.

INDUSTRIAL ELECTRICIAN

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Working within our two automated print production facilities, this permanent full-time position is responsible for providing electrical maintenance support on a variety of print production equipment and building systems to support day to day operations of the plant. This includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, diagnostic and troubleshooting services, responding to emergency breakdowns and completing accurate work order data entry/documentation. This position at times may also perform project work on an as needed basis for new installations and customizations on existing equipment to improve manufacturing efficiencies.

SERVICE DESK - SUPERVISOR

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for an experienced IT Professional to join our IT Services team in the role of Service Desk, Supervisor. The primary focus of this role will be supervising, mentoring and supporting the Service Desk employees with first level IT support for staff throughout the company, ensuring that top quality service levels are achieved. SECURITY OFFICER – PERMANENT CASUAL

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are currently recruiting for casual Security Officers (4) for permanent casual employment. Hours of work will include Saturday and/or Sunday from 5:30 am to 5:30 pm or 5:30 pm to 5:30 am and on call as required to cover vacations and/or leaves – both scheduled and not scheduled.

As a member of Corporate Security, the successful candidate will be responsible for enforcing policies and procedures relative to the safety and security of company property and personnel, monitoring building entrances and exits as well as building grounds, reporting violations, fire, accident, theft and vandalism and assisting with the various day to day security issues for the Winnipeg plant.

NOTE: Training to take place over the course of 3 weeks and will require full-time commitment. Shifts following the successful completion of training will be permanent, casual shifts, averaging 12 hours bi-weekly.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Monitor building entrances and exits, conduct regular and lengthy security check patrols and respond to security and safety incidents
  • Ensure all security processes are followed and integrity is maintained
  • View and document activity of security tapes/key scans, issue daily security logs and security reports
  • Respond to questions, enquires and resolve problems regarding security related issues
  • Maintain employee access to security and key scan systems (i.e. issue employee badges, deactivate employee access, issue PIN numbers, etc.)

SYSTEM ADMINISTRATOR

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Working within the Information Technology Infrastructure group, this full time permanent position will provide direct technical and administrative support to all aspects of the facilities UNIX/Linux, and applications systems for a multi-site 24-hour manufacturing environment.

The System Administrator is responsible for effective provisioning, installation/configuration, operation, and maintenance of systems hardware, software and related infrastructure, including participation in technical research and development to enable continuing innovation within the infrastructure.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

System Administration and Provisioning

  • Engineering of systems solutions for various project and operational needs
  • Install new / rebuild existing servers and configure hardware, peripherals, services, settings, directories, storage, etc. in accordance with standards and project/operational requirements

Operations and Support

Maintenance

QUALIFICATIONS:

PROCUREMENT ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Under the direction of the Purchasing Supervisor, this full-time position will focus on analyzing and evaluating purchases both on a per plant and Corporate basis to provide direction regarding effective purchasing strategies between various Pollard manufacturing facilities. This position will have responsibility for weekly and monthly reporting, analysis of all Corporate purchase data and verification of data accuracy and completeness. Additional duties will include purchasing support and back up to the other buyers.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide weekly and monthly Purchasing reports to monitor purchasing activities, cost saving initiatives within the plants and other project reporting

  • Monitor and ensure Minority Business contract commitments for State Lotteries are met
  • Review the purchasing administration system to ensure data accuracy, material code usage, and information value for management decision making

QUALIFICATIONS:

BUSINESS ANALYST

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We’re looking for a self-motivated, Business Analyst to join our Pollard Information Technology Team. In this role, you will be responsible for interactions with various stakeholders, including subject matter experts, executives, operational users and technical staff to analyze, elicit, and document requirements associated with defined project, system, or business process scope. This includes elicitation and requirements/process capture methods, tools, techniques and templates and the execution of those techniques on various IT and Digital Solutions projects at Pollard Banknote.

This role will provide business analysis services to a multitude of projects related to our Information Technology and Digital Solutions areas from inception to completion. Reporting to the Director Enterprise IT Applications, the role will be a shared service to high priority projects, within IT.

In addition, this position will be responsible for developing a set of templates and processes as it relates to business analysis.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Drive the interpretation of business objectives and system scope from the stakeholders to the developers; provide input on scope management and resolves issues related to the impact of changes to scope
  • Solicit goals and requirements through interviews, workshops, and reviews of existing documentation/procedures
  • Recommend improvements to processes or technical solutions to resolve identified gaps or underlying issues
  • Review artifacts and final requirements and obtain final endorsement from stakeholders
  • Work with architects, developers, stakeholders, and project managers to coordinate resolution of issues related to functionality that does not meet intended requirements
  • Negotiate commitments by facilitating communication between developers and stakeholders at various levels of the organization
  • Compile metrics and reports on progress of requirements development to project team
  • Provide thought leadership on business analysis approaches
  • Conduct current state, target state, and gap analysis on business and technical processes. This includes business process re-engineering through techniques such as Value Stream Mapping (VSM)
  • Create process models, specifications, diagrams, and charts to provide direction and support business process improvement. Integrate new and existing technology into business processes
  • Apply excellent understanding of SDLC, including how it relates to the various software development methodologies and processes (e.g., agile, RUP, waterfall, scrum) to deliver functionality. This includes requirements capture in standard business requirements documents (BRD) for functional and non-functional requirements and user stories with detailed acceptance criteria/tasks
  • Apply excellent understand of UML 2.0 diagraming including use cases, activity diagrams (with and without swim lanes), and sequence diagrams
  • Development of business cases and liaising with various Pollard Banknote stakeholders to assist with business case development
  • Review and analysis of change requests submitted with consideration to impact on current processes and interfacing systems
  • Provide updates regarding changes to specifications, delivery timelines and workflow
  • Assist with training users on new process
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Degree or Diploma specializing in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, or Business Analysis, or equivalent combination of education and related experience required
  • At least 3 years of progressive business systems analysis experience (including business process modeling)
