ACCOUNT COORDINATOR

THE OPPORTUNITY:

We are seeking an enthusiastic, results-oriented Professional to join our Sales & Marketing Team, working out of the Winnipeg Head Office. In this role you will assist in managing several established accounts, and serve as a liaison between assigned clients and internal work groups, to ensure exceptional service and product quality on a project by project basis. KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

FREIGHT COORDINATOR – 6 MONTH TERM

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Pollard Banknote is seeking a Freight Coordinator to work in our Shipping and Receiving Department. This term position will be responsible for working directly with customers and freight companies to efficiently coordinate and track the secure domestic and international shipment of all product to other Pollard Banknote facilities and customer locations.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Provide support to the production process by ensuring all product is shipped according to customer specifications in a timely manner
  • Ensure all security requirements, ISO standards compliance, custom regulations and international shipping terms are met
  • Determine shipment transport method, arrange bookings and minimize freight costs by effectively maximizing truck and container loads and by comparing and negotiating rates
  • Arrange bookings with freight forwarders and trucking companies
  • Track status of shipments to resolve problems to avoid delays, ensure delivery and provide continuous delivery updates to internal/external customers
  • Provide excellent customer service to clients
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent with minimum 2 years’ experience in transportation/logistics/customs or similar role
  • Certificate in Business Administration or certification in the logistics/transportation industry
  • Knowledge of logistics, trucking, and freight terminology preferred

THE OPPORTUNITY:

APPLICATION DEVELOPER

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This is a full time permanent opportunity to join the Interactive Games group as Application Developer. This role is responsible for implementing digital solutions to accompany instant tickets for new and existing customers. This includes the development, testing, management and support of websites, mobile applications, second chance draws and other applications.

The successful candidate will require an understanding of internet protocols and experience in all phases of web application development life cycle, in addition to an excellent understanding of customer needs and business strategy. Working closely with the development team, marketing team and art team, the position requires creative thinking with a focus on new, innovative technologies.

This position may occasionally require on call availability to support applications.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

INDUSTRIAL MECHANIC (MILLWRIGHT)

THE OPPORTUNITY:

This permanent full-time position is responsible for providing mechanical maintenance support on a variety of print production equipment and building systems to support day to day operations of the facility. This includes performing preventative maintenance tasks, diagnostic and troubleshooting services, responding to emergency breakdowns and completion of accurate work order data entry/documentation. This position at times performs project work on an as needed basis for new installations and customizations on existing equipment.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
  • Ensure proper performance and operation of machinery and mechanical equipment to minimize downtime for production
  • Respond to breakdowns and emergency repairs in an expedited and efficient manner
  • Complete work related to preventive maintenance inspections and planned work orders
  • Ensure high standards of workmanship quality are delivered to prevent manufacturing equipment breakdowns
  • Complete accurate documentation of repairs and maintenance performed
  • Carry out all work in a safe and professional manner complying with procedures, rules, and regulations
QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) Red Seal Certification
  • Minimum two years of related work experience as Red Seal Journeyman
  • Experience in diagnostics, troubleshooting, repair and preventative maintenance within a manufacturing environment is preferred
  • Basic working knowledge of Microsoft office suite
  • Ability to read and interpret engineered drawings, blue prints and schematics
